During its existence, “Karst” company has been active in all three fields (Exploratory drilling, Geotechnical structures and Grouting), achieving large number of references.
Exploratory drilling has been the basic activity from the very beginning of "Karst" existence. Soil investigations were mostly performed for the purpose of obtaining data of future structure (buildings, bridges, roads and railways) foundation and deformation conditions. Second group of investigations performed deals with unstable slopes and active slidings for the purpose of their remediation. Third investigation approach refers to the hydrological and mineral reserves drilling.
Geotechnical structures. Performance in this field developed as the firm grew up. At the beginning, mostly micropiling and passive anchoring have been performed. Then with some new and modern equipment, Karst introduced up to date technologies in piling and anchoring, as well as in performance of bored drains. The longest self-bored drain in Croatia reaches 76 m and has been performed in Zagreb.
Grouting as a very particular and demanding issue is one of "Karst" specialities which led the company to go out of the Croatian borders and obtain several excellent references around the world, like India, Eritrea, Jordan, Oman, but also in Croatia itself.
